"A lonely Alligator Snapping Turtle found a friend..."

A project I started working on in August of 2020 and after three months I've decided that it is time to stop working on it and let this baby out in the world. It's my first time trying to create a photo-realistic character from start to finish. I've decided to go with an Alligator snapping turtle because why not (it's the coolest ever).
I loved going through the process of figuring out how to make skin folds work naturally and how much detail should be sculpted and how much should be textures. Also using Mari for texturing on my machine (which choked countless times) and Katana for lookdev (which was just an absolute blast as usual). I've also used the Substance Designer and Painter to get procedural maps.
I would like to thank all of the YouTubers for making videos of alligator snapping turtles (because damn finding good references for Alligator snapping turtle is hard). Although there are so many things that I can still do to make it better, but I guess sometimes you just gotta know when to stop. So here's me stoping (for this artwork).
